On the 10th of May, KKZ was awarded the EU’s #BeEqual award for our program Paddle PWR-Girl PWR (PPGP) during the 2023 EU Sport Forum held in Stockholm, Sweden. This prestigious award recognises projects which promote and support gender equality in sport in Europe.
The award was accepted on behalf of KKZ by club presdient Melanie Schembri Waite, and Neja Vodopivec. The associated prize of €10,000 will allow KKZ to expand it’s activities for girls and purchase much needed equipment.
