OUR PRINCIPLES

KKZ encourages people of all ages to enjoy kayaking at a recreational and competition level so whether you're dreaming of going to the Olympics, or just want to relax with an easy Sunday paddle, we have a program for you.
At KKZ Teamwork stands central to our philosophy on and off the water, and all our programs include crew boat training.
We encourage all our athletes to compete as it provides a great opportunity to work towards goals, push your own boundaries, meet new people, and be part of a team. However if competing's not you, you're still always welcome to paddle with us.
At KKZ we believe that the kayak you use should aid your technical development and enjoyment of being on the water. So whether it's a heavy, stable kayak, or a long, skinny, tippy one, we'll help you help you find the perfect boat.
KKZ is committed to working towards gender equality in sport, and strives to maintain at least 50% active female membership.
We actively seek out collaborations with clubs, athletes, and coaches from abroad as it helps us push the sport forward and build a wider community. If you'd interested in working with us, get in touch!
Sport can be a vehicle to bring about positive change for individuals and society. In order to help achive this, at KKZ we demand the principles of Fair Play are adhered to at all times.
